I get these pencils every year for teachers at my son's school. Just so there are extra pencils in the classrooms. It is really handy that they are sharpened. From the start no one has to worry if anyone has a sharpener in the chaos of the first day or week of school. These last a long time and the lead doesn't break as easy as some other pencils. These are the best for doing school work on paper.My 4th graders class required 6 dozens of pencils! That’s an outrageous number in my opinion, but luckily we were able to find a good deal on these and didn’t have to skimp on quality due to how many were required. They seem to have the smoothest writing, be the easiest to sharpen (sometimes cheap pencils just feel gross when you sharpen them but these have a clean feel), and the erasers are excellent and seem to never develop that gross hard film or just spread your pencil marks around on the paper. Just a good all-around pencil.Our school always recommends this brand, I’ve never had an issue with them being easy to break. They are pretty easy for my son who has poor fine motor skills to use.
