While the extra 2 inch boosters done lock in tightly they are designed to stay in place in weight is on the stepper. The use of all parts makes it perfect enough height for a good step workout. The material is sturdy. Moving it is easy. There is enough texture on the top to prevent slipping but not so deep it is uncomfortable to hands for other movements.The size is perfect for masks. Holds 8 easily. Took a chance on the product with no reviews and the size is what beat out the rest. The plastic is very nice and sturdy. The only concern I have is the two latch. Since it’s plastic, I do hope it won’t break off easily. I will update as I put it into use.Update: It’s been 8 months and happily to report that the latch is still in tact and I have not had one issue so far.
