I really enjoyed using these for sketching. I have arthritis in my hands really bad and the bigger design makes handling them less painful. What I didn't like was the erasure on them. The erasers aren't really Tha fantabulous. I usually hold a pink pearl erasure in my left hand while sketching anyway, so it wasn't really an issue for me. The lead is very thick, less breakage! Yay! I tend to press really hard when drawing/sketching.I think this would be a wonderful gift for someone who has ouchy achey-breaky hands or a youngling just starting out writing andor drawing. I will definitely order these again. One of the best top 10 drunk purchases! These are the most comfortable mechanical pencils I own! And I own a lot, cheap and expensive. The triangular shape is the reason, and the lead size. Now I have to get more leads, and possibly more pencils too. My neighbor's children love these, so guess what they are getting for Christmas, and this size of lead is really elegant for drawing or just writing. I didn't have any 1.3mm leads, which is why I originally why I got these. Now it is my favorite lead size! I really have to get more. Soon. Today. :-)I like these pencils because the lead is thick and doesn't break easily. I have one in my purse for my calendar (ya, I'm old) I just push the lead tip in and put in back in my purse after I use it. No mess in my purse and when things change I have a pencil and good eraser if needed. Also on a flat surface the pencil will not roll.Homeschool mom of 2. My youngest like normal pencils but my oldest (12yrs old) is a little heavy handed. I've noticed that this mechanical pencil he doesn't push down as hard as he does with a normal pencil. He likes not having to worry about stopping his work to sharpen it. Only drawback is the eraser... it works just fine but once it's gone it's gone, so he just uses his big eraser. We bought a second set since he liked them so much. They are my absolute favorite pencils when anyone sees them they try to steal them from me. These are the ones I get every year. These are the best pencils I’ve tried by far. They are really inexpensive for how good they are. The eraser last so long and there is so much lead.Kids love Mechanical pencils, but they are not meant for young children. These pencils are specifically designed to meet the needs of beginning writers in a few key ways. The lead is bigger and stronger which holds up the excessive pressure that young kids put on the pencil when writing. The Pencil is a little bit larger which makes it easier to grip for the little ones. Finally, its triangular shape makes it perfect for teaching proper pencil grip. These pencils are great! I really like the thick lead That is in the pencils! I write a lot and often other types of pencils will tear through the paper. Because the lead is so thick on these pencils, the paper will not tear! You certainly cannot beat the price either! We homeschool and go through lots of pencil lead. These are a favorite for my early elementary kids. They write easily and the lead is thick, so it doesn't really break. Pencil erasers work well. After a year of *hard* use, some of the pencils started to have mechanical issues and wouldn't always cooperate, but I'm thrilled they lasted that long. For reference, my kids using them were 6, 5, & 4 last year. We ordered them again this year. I bought these for a family member in grade 1 thinking these were all wooden pencils. They are not. They are flimsy mechanical pencils. My brother broke one within 3-5 minutes of using it supervised... the entire shaft and spring system that holds the lead and clicks it out fell apart and was not fixable. The eraser would not go back into the top of the pencil once removed to add the lead. Overall I am extremely disappointed. I only ordered these because they were discontinued at Staples stores... 1.5/10.Son geniales y muy prácticos, no se rompe la punta. I just wish the lead was a little thinner. When you write with it, it looks like dull pencil writing.
